Anionic Polymers

PECOGEL H-12/A (VP/Polycarbamyl Polyglycol Ester)
Film-former that dries to a clear, continuous, non-tacky film. It is slippery when wet and resists removal with water. Useful in mascaras; increases body and manageability in shampoos/conditioners and provides humectancy in skin products.

Film-former with similar properties as Pecogel H-12/A, except dry film has greater water resistance.

PECOGEL HS-501/A
(INCI: VP/Dimethiconylacrylate/Polycarbamyl Polyglycol Ester (and) VP/Polycarbamyl Polyglycol Ester) is a 20% polymer solution in water. PECOGEL HS-501/A forms a flexible, non-tacky film when dry and the film is slippery when wet. However, its component parts synergistically complex to form a thicker, tougher film than any of its components and is completely insoluble in water when dry.
